About this position
Research Degree Opportunity: PhD in Improving the Seismic Performance of Traditional Masonry Construction in the Himalayan Mountain Region.
This is an International Joint PhD project offered by the University of Melbourne in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. The project is primarily based at Melbourne, with a required minimum 12-month stay at IIT Kanpur.
The research focuses on civil engineering, earthquake engineering, seismic performance, and traditional masonry construction in the Himalayan mountain region.
