About this position

Postdoctoral Associate | Molecular Biology at The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut, United States.

The Wang Lab is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to study the molecular mechanisms underlying hematological malignancies, especially leukemia, disease initiation, and therapy resistance. The project uses a multidisciplinary approach integrating genomics, epigenomics, and immunology, with cutting-edge methods such as CRISPR-based tools, single-cell multi-omics, and cancer mouse models.

Ideal applicants should have a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, cancer biology, genetics, and next-generation sequencing. Experience in computational biology, genetic screens, and single-cell technologies is preferred. A Ph.D. in a relevant field and at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication are expected, along with excellent writing, communication, and independent research skills.

Funding is provided as a salaried postdoctoral appointment, with JAX salary levels listed from $65,589 to $75,569 depending on postdoc experience. Exceptional candidates may show early independence through the JAX Scholars Program.
