Postdoctoral Fellow in Stretchable Liquid Batteries and Soft Electronics

Postdoctoral opportunity at Linköping University, Sweden in stretchable liquid batteries , soft electronics , wearable electronics , and printed electronics . The position is hosted by the Laboratory for Organic Electronics (LOE) and the Soft Electronics Group led by Professor Klas Tybrandt , with collaboration involving Assistant Professor Aiman Rahmanudin and partners in the EU-funded E-FLOWER consortium. The project focuses on designing durable, sustainable, and stretchable liquid batteries for next-generation wearable electronics and sensor patches. Research topics include battery materials and electrodes , soft and printed electronics , wearable sensor technologies , sustainable electronics manufacturing , and advanced printing methods for deformable energy-storage devices. The work is interdisciplinary and collaborative, involving LOE, RISE, and European research partners. Eligibility: a PhD in Materials Science , Nanotechnology , Materials Chemistry , or a related field is required. Experience in battery development and/or stretchable electronics is desirable. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, communication skills, and good English are expected. Funding and duration: this is a 2-year postdoctoral employment with possible extension up to 3 years .
