Postdoctoral Research Associate in Hsp70 Chaperone Code and Proteostasis

Postdoctoral Research Associate position available in the Truman Laboratory at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for Spring 2027 . The project focuses on the Hsp70 chaperone code and proteostasis , investigating how post-translational modifications regulate molecular chaperones and cellular protein homeostasis. The research combines molecular biology , biochemistry , proteomics , genetics , and cell biology to study protein folding, stress responses, signaling pathways, and disease-associated processes. Work will span yeast and mammalian model systems and use cutting-edge proteomic and interactome-mapping technologies.
