Hiran Ariyawansa

The Ariyawansa Laboratory in the Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology at National Taiwan University (Taipei, Taiwan) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher for an NSTC-funded project focused on fungal genomics , transcriptomics , bioinformatics , and plant pathology . The successful candidate will work on bioinformatics analyses, research planning, manuscript preparation, and collaboration with students and laboratory members. The project also touches on mycology , RNA-seq analysis , comparative genomics , population genomics , and plant–pathogen interactions . Eligibility highlights: a PhD in bioinformatics, genomics, transcriptomics, plant pathology, mycology, molecular biology, microbiology, or a related field; experience with genomic/transcriptomic data analysis; Linux-based bioinformatics skills; and programming ability in R , Python , or similar languages. Strong scientific writing and English communication skills are expected, and experience in fungal genomics or RNA-seq is an advantage. Funding: salary follows NSTC and NTU regulations and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
