PhD opportunity at Aston University: Project title: Novel Polymer Systems for Ostomy Adhesive Applications . This is an industry-funded, fully funded 3.5-year PhD studentship offered through Aston University's PhD+ scheme. The project sits at the interface of academia and industry and is linked with Coloplast A/S and the Aston Institute for Membrane Excellence. Research focus: polymer synthesis, polymer materials, advanced polymer characterisation, sustainability, and medical adhesive applications for ostomy products. Students will gain training in polymer synthesis, advanced materials characterisation, access to world-class laboratory facilities, and experience working collaboratively with academic and industrial scientists.
