🌊 PhD opportunity in Integrated Remote Sensing and Hydrological Modelling at the University of Naples Federico II , hosted by HydroLAB UNINA in the Department of Civil, Building and Environmental Engineering . The project focuses on monitoring rivers and inland waters through an integrated framework combining satellite remote sensing (Sentinel-1/2/3, SWOT), camera-based and drone observations , citizen science and in situ sensing, and process-based hydrological and water quality modelling . Ideal candidates should have a strong background in hydrology or water resources , programming skills in Python, R, or MATLAB , and experience with GIS and remote sensing data .
