About this position
PhD positions are open in Energy Informatics at the SDU Center for Energy Informatics, University of Southern Denmark in Odense M, Denmark.

The positions are three-year PhD fellowships with a monthly gross salary of 37,075 DKK including pension. The post includes social benefits and pension contributions, and a higher salary step may be possible with relevant postgraduate experience.
Applicants should hold a master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, energy engineering, electrical engineering, building services, or a closely related field. Required experience includes data analysis, machine learning, optimisation, system modelling, data cleaning, feature engineering, Python or similar programming, and familiarity with AI techniques. Experience with multimodal data, LLMs, and modern AI in energy/industrial contexts is an advantage.
